Hi Everybody,

Does anybody know if its possible to make a apple-touch-icon.png work at Squarespace?

Stephan,

Yes it is, I have one setup for my SS Site - mzampino.com

I did it by following these directions:
Directions

Note:

1) Make sure the icon is named exactly as it states.
2) The Meta Code gets pasted in your Additional Header Code - Code Injection Point.
3) Upload the Icon to the Primary Storage Area and make sure the Meta Code URL is correctly pointing to it.

This should do it. Any issues let me know.

Stephen,

Thanks... I made it an HREF cause it was hanging off the page when I initially pasted it in. I guess I missed something.

Thanks again for the correction.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to do this but it is not happening :)

I have added the file apple-touch-icon.png to the main folder on my site and pasted the following code in the header code -

"<link rel="apple-touch-icon" href="http://www.follanphotography.com.au/storage/apple-touch-icon.png" />"

but when I try and ass the page to my iPhone it does not work?

Andrew,

Your site's iPhone Icon works on my iPhone. I bookmarked it and got a Black Icon with a big white "F" wrapped in a two white angles...
