Design + Coding > Journal Pagination

I would like for the journal pagination to show all pages instead of just the 5 closest and the first and last page with the ellipsis separating them. Would just like every page listed. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Mark,

Post a link so that someone can look at the code. Even so, you may be out of luck, because that text is probably being generated by Squarespace, so (short of writing a clever script to insert some additional HTML on the generated page) there may be no way to change it.

Thanks for the reply. We haven't tried to implement anything yet but the concept was to have an online manual and use the journal with a 1 page per post setting and then each page/post would be a section of the manual. In the journal pagination, squarespace only shows the closest couple of pages to the current page being shown...(ellipsis) and the first and last pages. We were hoping someone could show us a quick script that would override that setting and just list out 1 through 20 pages (for example) so that each page of the journal (manual in our case) could be accessed with one click. I've seen posts on here where scripts have been written to get previous/next links and things like that going so we thought maybe this wouldn't be that hard. Seems that just letting the system list out all the pages would be easy compared to the way it has to figure out which pages are on each side of the current page then the first/last, etc. Anyway just hoping someone might have something for us on that. We'd appreciate any help. Thanks!
