Features + System > IPhone app, how about and Android app?
Yes App for Android OS please. It will most likely become the dominate OS for Palm Pre and BlackBerry eventually. Can we get an app?
Allan Saro
I use a Motorola Droid as well. This would be great.

I agree! I'd love to see an Android app as well but it's doubtful since Squarespace is like the Mac of site hosting. I mean that as a compliment because I'd probably have an iPhone if it wasn't on only AT&T. Android seems like it's really blowing up. The droid is fast compared to the G1. I'm holding out for the Nexus one or the Xperia from Sony.

Yes, an Android app would be nice since I'll be purchasing a Droid in the near future.

Personally, I'd prefer to see Squarespace focus on improving the iPhone app even further. More flexibility for posting (pictures within posts, comment management, etc.).

Yeah, this was the only thing preventing me from moving from the 2 week trial to a full serviced SS. If I'm stuck using my homePC anyways I might as well use the WYSIWYG on there coupled with hosting somewhere else.

I totally agree with that! I'm looking at buying the droid so an app would be awesome.

Please I just bought a nexus one and I really want to upload pictures and movies to my squarespace site.

If time and energy are issues getting out Android/Palm/Crackberry versions of the app, documenting the API the iPhone app uses and letting the community roll their own would be awesome... While his Steve-ness doesn't allow open source apps in the iPhone, it's a different world everywhere else.

I just got a Nexus One to replace my iPhone. I used the iPhone app extensively and I miss that functionality on my new Android device. Please bring the Squarespace app to Android! Please! Thanks!

I'm pretty damn impressed with my first 2 hours on Squarespace. Even my just purchased (maybe 3 hours ago) domain name through nettica.com went smoothly and everything's working on that end. But I agree with the others. An Android app at this point seems like a no-brainer. I understand why you'd do the iphone app first but it's pretty obvious that the 3 platforms of Smartphones through 2010 will be iphone, Blackberry and Android. WebOS has no traction and certainly doesn't have Google's deep pockets to gather market share. Microsoft is in freefall with the latest rumors of Windows Mobile 7 being MAYBE September. Symbian? Come on. It looks like WordPress and TypePad will have the 3 SmartPhone successes covered with an app and you should too. That was and is the only reason I'd hesitate to buy the account when the 14 day demo expires.

I have to add my hat into voting for an Android App. I'm on a Sprint HTC Hero, and upgrading to a N1, but I'm coming from Blogger and more than likely going to WordPress for no other reason than the fact that WP has an Android App

An Android App would be amazing.

One more vote for an Android app

We have a Wordpress app, now I can haz squarespace?

As a new Squarespace user I would love to update my website from my Droid easily; yes there's the browser but a simple app would be great. Any word from a community manager or developer on whether or not this is even being considered?
Oliver
I came here to buy a squarespace blog, and first decided to check on a Android app. Any chance of this happening?
Am I stuck with Wordpress???
