Can anyone set up a recurring payment so that I can sell account subscriptions? I would like a potential member to be able to use the existing member account set up option and also be able to enter their payment information as well using PayPal. Please contact me if you can help with this, I would prefer to work with a developer who has already done this successfully and can link me to the site that they did it on.

Hi! I am garg. I done subscription for every month on paypal. it is recurring payment. for first time I get all details of transaction and sucessfully update customer data. Now I have problem for second time to get the payment details.

I totally agree with Jeff Barson in that there should be paid subscription ability. SquareSpace has a very good audience and member system, including email templates and database ability for members.

The main thing missing is paid subscription ability for premium content/members. PayPal would be great since it is so popular and already has a subscription format.

Michele Baer: I didn't post originally, but what you wrote is what I need to do. Except my paid membership site would be monthly and I'd like to use more than just paypal to accept payments. (One must always have a back up.) Is this possible as far as you know?

Yes, you can use Google Checkout as well as PayPal, any self contained Checkout should be fine. You're just not able to transact on the SS server, at lease not yet.

What I described above will require some steps/work on your part but it should not be a problem on the user/customer end. Transacting on the Internet, no matter how well programmed takes vigilance and work! This I've learned by experience. It can be wonderfully profitable but don't think it will run by itself ... no matter what application you use there are always issues when selling online.

I need to make parts of my website subscription based, so users could sign up to my fanclub with their email adresss, pay 5 bucks and get a years access to all my songs on a download page, special offers etc. Whats the best way to do this? i luuurve squarespace, but i need to find the easiest, most automated way of doing this.. any suggestions? Michelle - can you explain how a paypal password could be used on squarespace site, for example? Sorry, I'm not the greatest with this stuff!

This must be towards the TOP of the Squarespace development list. Vital to take this brilliant system to next stage.
