Subscriptions Endpoints
View and manage the subscriptions underlying resold products. Retrieving a subscription returns full subscription details. Fields differ by product type.
What's possible
- ✅ Get all reseller subscriptions, or a specific subscription
- ✅ Get or update the auto-renew setting for a subscription
- ✅ Cancel or reactivate an individual subscription
What's not possible
- ✖️ Get details about customers — use Customers instead
- ✖️ Manage individual product settings, such as DNS records — use the specific product endpoints instead
A few caveats on the endpoint returning “all” subscriptions for a customer:
- Expired subscriptions are removed from the API 30 days after the expiration date (thus, to display all historical subscriptions, resellers must store these records on their own)
- Cancelled subscriptions are removed from the API 30 days after the expiration date, or as soon as a customer renews that subscription directly with Squarespace
- A domain subscription that is cancelled within 5 days of purchase will be removed immediately from the API
- Subscriptions acquired with Squarespace directly or through other resellers will not be returned by the API.
